Placements in Spott represent the successful outcome of your recruitment process — when a candidate is matched and confirmed for a role. Placements link together the job, the candidate, and the client, giving you a complete record of the hire. Within Spott, placements also power reporting and revenue insights, helping you track performance and forecast business growth.

Create a new placement from an existing candidate

Navigate to an open job on Spott

  1. In Spott, go to Jobs.
  2. Find the job you want to place a candidate for. Make sure it’s under the right company/client.
  3. Click on the job title.

Place a candidate

  1. Click on a candidate’s professional title (directly underneath their name).
  2. Mark them as placed.
Clicking on a candidate’s name in Job view will not open the placement menu, it will open their candidate profile. Make sure to click on their professional title – directly under their name – to open the placement menu.

Fill placement details

Markplaced PnYou can fill:
  • Placed at date – Date the person was placed at a company
  • Placed by – Person responsible for the placement of the candidate
  • Start date – Start date of the candidate’s contract
  • End date – End date of the candidate’s contract
  • Fee income – Income generated from that placement

Placements Overview

Placements Pn The Placement tab in Spott gives an overview of all placements displayed in a table format, with each column representing an attribute:
  1. Company – Company where the candidate was placed
  2. Vacancy – Rrole in which the candidate was placed
  3. Candidate – Name of the candidate
  4. Placed At – Date the person was placed at a company
  5. Placed By – Person responsible for the placement of the candidate
  6. Start Date – Start date of the candidate’s contract
  7. End Date – End date of the candidate’s contract
  8. Fee Income – Income generated from that placement
You can:
  • Edit placements if placement details need to be adapted.
  • Delete placements if they are not relevant anymore.
