Make sure Outlook or Gmail are synced with Spott

Before scheduling a new meeting, ensure that your Outlook or Gmail account is synced with Spott:Outlook Pn
  1. In Spott, go to SettingsIntegrations.
  2. Find the Microsoft Outlook or Google Suite integration settings and make sure one of them is connected.
  3. If not, click Not Synced and follow the login prompts.

Schedule a new meeting

To schedule a new meeting, go to the Calendar tab in Spott, then click on Schedule Meeting in the top right corner.Calendar Pn

Fill in meeting settings

In the meeting settings menu, make sure that Schedule meeting is checked (top right corner), as well as Online meeting (if you’re planning to have the meeting via Microsoft Teams or Google Meet).Meeting PnYou can set a few parameters before sending the meeting request:
  1. Recipient / To – Person to schedule a meeting with.
  2. Subject – Subject or Topic of the email/meeting.
  3. Meeting date and time
  4. Meeting location – Useful if planning to have a physical meeting.
  5. Email body – Add text to the email itself.
The email body can automatically be filled with predefined content by using the Start from template function. Insert signature allows the adding of a custom signature at the end of the email.
